We at Mastek owe our success to the three Cs: Contribution, Collaboration and Character-Building. Our idea is not just to turn Mastek into a world-class company and create enduring value for our customers, but also to enhance the personal lives of Mastekeers, and to make the world a better place to live in.

Contribution: At the core of Mastek is the belief that a company is like a living organism whose purpose is to make a useful contribution to the world. We subscribe to Gandhi’s philosophy that no deserving institution ever dies for lack of support. Hence, we (the founders and the several generations of leaders who followed us) have always strived to keep Mastek evergreen – by ensuring that it is always relevant and useful to the world around us.

At Mastek, this has translated to an alignment and intimacy with our customers. It’s this that helps us identify innovation and transformation opportunities for our customers and work with them to support their growth and leadership. Our open and collaborative culture, driven by mutual respect, has been our ‘secret formula’ to envisioning and creating strategic platforms and applications in conjunction with our customers and partners.

Today, despite our size and diversity, people still come together effortlessly to solve problems, leaving their egos at the door, with the leadership baton passing to the person most appropriate in that situation.
