Building leaders

Mastek has always focused on building engaged employees. Engaged employees tend to be more productive than merely satisfied employees, perform better and are more focused on goals and outcomes. There is also a higher rate of motivation and retention among engaged teams.

One of the ways in which we build engaged teams is through our leadership training program. We have recognized that the unit of engagement is actually the project teams, and building leaders who engage their teams within projects is the key to aligning people in the organization to business goals.

Our leadership development program has five training modules:

  • Personal leadership program -- `Pravesh’ -- for trainees and lateral hires. Basic Management Skills for first-time supervisors
  • Managerial Excellence Program for project leads and managers
  • Advanced People Management Skills for managers
  • Inspiring Leader Facilitator Skills for senior managers and unit heads.
