Capita Group Plc
- The Capita Group is a FTSE 100 company employing over 7,500
persons across a network of over 100 sites, with an annual turnover
of £327 million.
- It provides an integrated range of professional support services
on long-term contract to local government, central government,
educational institutions and the private sector in the UK.
- Mastek’s relationship with the company started in 1995
with an onsite development project. By 2000, it was a delivery
partner, becoming a strategic partner in 2001.
BT C&SI ( Formarly BT Syntegra )
- BT Group plc is the listed holding company for an integrated
group of businesses providing voice, data and video services in
the UK and elsewhere in Europe. British Telecommunications plc,
a wholly-owned subsidiary of BT Group, holds virtually all businesses
and assets of the BT group.
- BT C&SI is part of BT Group. It plays a key role in BT's
ICT strategy as its expert in systems integration. BT C&SI
employs more than 5000 business and technical professionals worldwide.
- Mastek was awarded a 10 year contract by BT C&SI for an
initial £27 million as part of the National Programme for
IT within the UK’s National Health Service. As part of this
programme, prime-contracted by BT, Mastek will be responsible
for the development and support of the following applications;
data integrity, terminology, reporting services and electronic
transmission of prescriptions.
