1982 : Mastek is founded by 4 IIM graduates.
Ketan Mehta ,Ashank Desai and R Sundar are the founder members who are later joined by Sudhakar Ram in October 1984.
1990 : Subsidiary in Singapore is established.
1992 : Mastek USA is founded.
1994: Subsidiary in Malaysia is created.
1996 : Mastek UK is established.
1999 : Subsidiary in Germany is formed.
2002 : State-of-the-art Campus launched at Millennium Park at New Bombay.
2005 : Signs the memorandum of agreement to acquire 15.5 acres of land at Mahindra City in Chennai. Mastek group’s first development centre outside Maharashtra, India.
2005 : Launches its largest development centre outside Mumbai in Pune .
2007 : Launches its first development centre outside Maharashtra in Chennai.
2007 : A new building is commissioned at Millennium Park campus at New Bombay.

1985 : Amongst the first in India to create software
products.
1989 : One of the first to introduce
RDBMS in India.
1992: First to develop ERP in India.
1993: First Indian Information Technology company to offer ESOP (Employee Stock Option Plan).
1992 : First Indian IT Company to get
listed at a premium price.
1997: One of the first
to venture into CRM services globally.
2000: First IT Solutions Company in the world to be assessed at P-CMM Level 3.
2003: One of the worlds largest Dot Net project London Congestion Charging goes live.
2007: Mastek is amongst the first to ride the third wave of Indian IT .
Quality Milestones
1994 : ISO 9001 accreditation.
Sept 2000 : First IT Solutions Company in the world to be assessed at P-CMM Level 3 and SW-CMM Level 5.
Oct 2007 : Mastek attains Level 3 of CMMI version 1.2

Mastek has been ranked 11th amongst the leaders of Global Outsourcing 100 companies (2007) by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals.
Mastek has been ranked in the top 50 global outsourcing providers in The Black Book of Outsourcing published by the Brown-Wilson Group (2007).
Mastek has been awarded the prestigious Jamanalal Bajaj Award for Fair Business Practices in 2005.
The award, instituted in 1988 recognizes and applauds efforts of business houses and business associations with an exemplary record of practising and promoting fair business practices.
