The client is a large broker-dealer network in the US selling (services) financial products through a network of licensed distributors.
These distributors work with thousands of independent agents who are multi-tied and have equipped themselves with different software applications to manage their business.
MajescoMastek implemented a Virtual Office portal solution that aimed at enabling these agents to access an array of sales and financial tools over a network. The portal made it easier and more secure for the agent(s) to work with multiple applications.
In addition, the portal enabled seamless process flow across third party systems and access to products of multiple insurance carriers through a single sign-on facility.
The BizTalk Server used in developing the Virtual Office has been designed with different technology adaptors to cater to the needs of the proprietary applications developed in .NET and J2EE, and other proprietary adaptors.
This was the first ever portal solution in the financial advisory industry to integrate proprietary applications of different vendors.
The Channel Portal solution from MajescoMastek helped the client increase sales figures from measurable efficiency gains.
