This business is on the lines of Mastek's global insurance practice line, which has been extremely successful in delivering value to clients across the globe with its unique blend of domain knowledge, solutioning expertise and implementation experience.
In 2001, after meeting the needs of the global insurance industry for more than 10 years, we launched Elixir, our web-enabled end-to-end solution framework for the insurance and annuities industry. The framework brings together the 1,500+ man years of experience across more than 70 successful insurance projects.
Elixir's components help customers:
- Improve product introduction and support
- Enhance and expand distribution
- Increase operational efficiency and enhance customer service
Our Global Center of Excellence, a part of the same initiative, has been instrumental in encouraging the cross-pollination of ideas and best practices, which has been extremely well-received by our customers. With over 800 technofunctional consultants working worldwide, we are flexible enough to support the growth of our customers.
In line with our strategy of focusing on the US insurance market, we recently acquired Entegram. The acquisition expands Mastek's strategic presence in insurance, particularly in the Hartford market.
