Prameela Kalive, Mastek’s COO, is an experienced leader with over three decades in the industry. As the first woman COO of the Indian IT Industry, she is a source of inspiration, advocating a ‘Customer First’ mindset that has defined her illustrious career.
In her ground-breaking role as a missile scientist with the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), she contributed to the AGNI and AKAASH Missile Development teams under the esteemed leadership of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Before her role at Mastek, Prameela served as the COO at Zensar Technologies for an impressive 22 years, playing a pivotal role in the company’s growth across global portfolios, from software delivery to sales, marketing, strategy, innovation, HR and practice development.
Prameela holds a master’s degree in digital engineering and business administration. She is an alumnus of prestigious institutions, such as Osmania University, the London School of Economics (LSE) and the Indian School of Business.
Her impact extends beyond the corporate realm as she actively engages in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) forums, championing sustainable practices. A fitness enthusiast, she participates in running events.
