Sudhakar Ram, Founder and Former Chief Managing Director
Sudhakar was the Co-founder and Director at Mastek with over four decades of extensive experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry. With his strategic vision, Sudhakar played a pivotal role in shaping and implementing transformative initiatives within Vertical Enterprise Platforms and Applications.
A guiding force within Mastek, Sudhakar assumed the role of providing mentorship and guidance to the Group Chief Executive Officer, translating the board’s vision into operational directions and goals. He steered Mastek toward success.
From 2013 to March 2015, he was the CEO of Mastek (UK) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mastek. Also, he served on the boards of various overseas subsidiaries, contributing significantly to their establishment and growth.
Sudhakar was a silver medallist from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta. Sudhakar’s journey as a veteran in the IT sector extended beyond technical expertise; he was a keen observer of both domestic and global IT and business trends. In 2007, he received the ‘India Business Leader of the Year’ award from CNBC Asia.
