Inspiring employees for meaningful imapct

We started in 2002 as our social initiative in India to inspire our employees to give back to their communities through volunteering and local grants.

It takes a social approach, supporting charities and solving problems through Mastek Foundation Run, Inspired, Project Deep Blue, and ITransforming NGOs. Through 2019-20 the Foundation awarded 14,848 grants to support social causes and helped 1,128 beneficiaries through payroll giving.

In 21 years, we've grown into a $1bn organization, with offices around the world. But we are fully committed to the community values that have always been at the heart of what we do.

Today, Mastek Foundation is being scaled to our global geographies, as we continue to strengthen our support of community projects and non-profit organizations.

People love to support the communities they’re a part of. It’s what makes marathons so special. And it’s why we run.

Big change starts with big events. Our mission with the Mastek Marathon is to change lives by bringing together diverse communities. It raises money for charity, fosters team spirit, encourages wellness and helps to inspire others. We get to deepen our engagement with local communities by building local relationships and embedding diversity, equality and economic outcomes into the marathon’s design.

In November every year, the Mastek Marathon supports people to run for charity to give something back to those who have given so much. We train with diverse communities, make new friends and help people to connect with each other while raising awareness for the causes they love.

Singing for charity

Since 2015 our annual musical fundraiser has raised funds for good causes in India. It’s been hosted by Bollywood playback singers Sanjeevani Bhelande and ghazal singer Talat Aziz and has been known to raise more than $5,853,185 in 3 hours. We get to use our joy of singing to support local causes such as the construction of a residential institution for 2,000 destitute children in Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with Parivaar Education Society.

Digital at scale for NGOs

NGOs need to shift from internal management approaches to digital solutions that support programme effectiveness across the globe. We partner with them to provide consulting that will drive their ability to scale, build their internal capabilities and to experiment with new ideas. So that they can infuse technology into every aspect of their work and deliver better results, faster.
