The Home Office is the lead government department for immigration and passports, drugs policy, crime, counter-terrorism and police.

Selected Mastek to deliver two key processes, the Biometric Residence Permit and the Biometric Travel Document components of the core IPT Programme infrastructure which comprised:

  • SSB (Shared Service Bus), a software component supporting communication between immigration and enforcement systems
  • CDP (Common Data Platform), a single data platform addressing various data sharing needs of the Home Office and other government departments.
