The client was looking to improve their HR department productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. In this pursuit, they partnered with us and implemented Oracle HCM Cloud to reconfigure their HR strategy. After the go-live, they were able to automate their recruitment process, thereby, reducing their operational cost and time.

The Client

Based in the United States for over 75 years, the client is an NPO on a mission to prevent and cure diabetes, along with improving the lives of the people who are affected by it. They  specialise in Diabetes Education, Research and Advocacy. The moving force behind the work of the client is a network of more than one million volunteers, a membership of more than 500,000 people with diabetes, their families, and caregivers, a professional society of nearly 14,000 health care professionals, as well as more than 800 staff members.

The Situation

  • The existing system had data and information coming from multiple sources, which did not support an agile working environment 

  • Their recruitment process comprised of complex, manual tasks and there was no central tracking system to provide information on current progress

The Solution

Our team developed a data strategy with a hybrid cloud approach that made elastic resources available for analysts and developers. Once the strategy was ratified, our team launched a result and goal-oriented proof of concept (PoC) to solidify the business case for implementing AWS Redshift and supplemental cloud technologies to replace the existing Oracle environment. This solution delivery approach was able to explore and address Wellington’s concerns with the technology and build confidence in a combination of products from AWS and open source platforms.

  • Manual approval processes were automated with the Oracle HCM Cloud implementation 

  • Created custom rules to accommodate State Rules in Time and Labor Calculation

  • Migrate 20 on-prem applications, 23 Essbase Cubes, 4000+ reports and 28 integration touchpoints to the cloud
  • Migrate 100 GB of data from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud
  • Gain a bird-eye’s view of operations by incorporating dashboards
  • Drive better insights from data, improved reporting, top-notch data security, governance and compliance
