The Client

Based in the United States for over 75 years, the client is an NPO on a mission to prevent and cure diabetes, along with improving the lives of the people who are affected by it. They  specialise in Diabetes Education, Research and Advocacy. The moving force behind the work of the client is a network of more than one million volunteers, a membership of more than 500,000 people with diabetes, their families, and caregivers, a professional society of nearly 14,000 health care professionals, as well as more than 800 staff members.

The Situation

  • The existing system had data and information coming from multiple sources, which did not support an agile working environment

  • Their recruitment process comprised of complex, manual tasks and there was no central tracking system to provide information on current progress

  • Manual approval processes were automated with the Oracle HCM Cloud implementation
